Both directions are legitimate — the score measures fullness per calorie, not virtue. Every version is the same dish, rebalanced.

Every ingredient links to its food page — same data, same score, same formula.
Steps
- Blend the cottage cheese completely smooth before anything else — visible curds bake into pale specks.
- Mix with the mashed banana, eggs and vanilla, then fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Into a lined loaf tin, walnuts on top.
- Bake at 175°C for 50–55 minutes, tenting with foil at 35 if it browns fast. Cool fully in the tin — cottage cheese loaves are fragile hot and firm up completely as they cool.

Why this score
easy to overeatDense calories with little protein, volume or fiber to fill you up.
Three routes to fullness — one is enough
What pulls it down
Computed on the finished dish, not an average of the parts: 2325 kcal goes into the pot, 1096 g of ingredients comes out as ~900 g of food → 258 kcal per 100 g. Cooking moves water, and energy density is the score's biggest lever — so we show the math. Full formula here.
